Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival And Pick up at Entebbe
Upon landing at Entebbe International Airport, your safari will begin. You will Take a moment to adjust to the surroundings and embrace the warm hospitality Uganda is known for.
Depending on your time of arrival, you will explore Entebbe town, and its botanical gardens, or simply rest in preparation for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls – The Journey Northward
Early morning after your breakfast, you will embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest conservation area.
As you traverse the diverse landscapes, you will witness the transition from urban to pristine wilderness. You will have your lunch in Masindi town and then proceed to access the park gate.
When you get to the park area, you will go for a hike at the top of the falls to witness the mighty Nile squeeze itself into a narrow gorge to purge into the basin creating a thunder sound and sparkles of water decorated with rainbow colors. This is such a great spectacle to watch.
After the hike, you will go to your lodge to check in, have dinner, Rest, and rejuvenate for the next day’s activities.

Day 3: Morning Game Drive and afternoon Boat Ride at Murchison Falls National Park
You will rise early for a morning game drive, spotting lions, elephants, giraffes, and other wildlife. After about 4 hours of driving through the different tracks of Murchison Falls National Park, you will head back to your lodge for breakfast, rest for a while, and have lunch.
In the afternoon, you will take a boat ride to the base of Murchison, and marvel at the sight of the Nile River being forced through a narrow gorge, creating an awe-inspiring cascade and different water animals such as hippos, crocodiles, and birds.
The boat ride will end coming to evening hours and you will head back to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay: Paraa Safari Lodge/Pakuba Safari Lodge/Murchison River Lodge
Day 4: Drive to Kibale Forest National Park (Primate’s Kingdom)
You will travel southward to Kibale National Park, known for its impressive diversity of primates. As you drive, enjoy Uganda’s scenic landscapes, with views of tea plantations, lush forests, and crater lakes.
You will have lunch in Hoima, reach Fort Portal City early evening to take a tour around and be led to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5: The Chimpanzee Encounter in Kibale
Early morning, you will have a cup of coffee and some snacks and head to Kanyanchu for briefing. You will then venture into the forest for a once-in-a-lifetime experience: trekking with wild chimpanzees. Listen to their calls, observe their social behaviors, and immerse yourself in the beauty of Kibale.
You will then get back to your lodge for lunch and later in the afternoon go to Bigodi for a nature walk around the wetland where you will encounter different species of primates and birds.
You will also have a walk around the local community to show gratitude for conserving the natural environment around them.
Late evening, you will return to your lodge for dinner and overnight: Kibale Forest Camp/Chimpanzee Guesthouse/Turaco Treehouse/Crater Safari Lodge/Papaya Lake Lodge
Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After a hearty breakfast, you will continue your journey to the renowned Queen Elizabeth National Park, a biodiversity hotspot.
The drive takes only 3 hours to reach the park and thus, you will of a game drive to look for some of the commoners in the wilderness.
You will later head to your lodge to settle and prepare for the next day’s explorations.

Day 7: Game Drive and boat Ride at Queen Elizabeth National Park
Early morning after breakfast, you will explore the park’s savannahs in search of lions, elephants, and the elusive leopard.
You will return to your lodge briefly for lunch and later, take a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel, home to hippos, crocodiles, and a plethora of bird species.
The boat ride starts at around 2:30 pm in the afternoon and ends after 3 hours, so you will return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and a night’s rest.

Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi – Land of the Gorillas
After a sumptuous breakfast, you will sign out of your lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park to journey to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, a UNESCO World Heritage site and home to the majestic mountain gorillas.
You will have lunch in Kihihi town and proceed with your voyage, as you approach, the forest’s dense canopy and mist-covered hills promise a magical experience.
Dinner and overnight: Mahogany Springs/Bwindi Lodge/Agaandi Lodge/Gorilla Safari Lodge/Icumbi Lodge
Day 9: Gorilla Tracking Experience – Face-to-Face with Giants
You will rise up early, and prepare to head to Bwindi head offices for a gorilla trekking experience. Tracking the mountain gorillas in their natural habitat is undoubtedly a highlight.
Witnessing these gentle giants up close is an emotional and unforgettable experience. Unluckily, you will only spend one hour with them and be led out of the forest to return to your lodge for a meal and rest.
In the evening, you may decide to go for a community walk to mix and mingle with the local people of the Kigezi region.

Day 10: Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park & Afternoon Boat Ride
On this day, you will proceed to Lake Mburo National Park, a gem teeming with wildlife. You will have your lunch in Mbarara and commence your journey to Mburo. You will reach there in the late afternoon and go for a boat ride, observing hippos, birds, and other wildlife along the lakeshore.
Dinner and overnight: Rwakobo Rock Lodge/Eagles Nest
Day 11: Morning Game Drive in Lake Mburo National Park and transfer to Entebbe
You will capture your last memories with a morning game drive. As you spot zebras, impalas, and perhaps even leopards, soak in your final moments in Uganda’s wilderness. Later, you will transfer back to Entebbe, marking the end of your safari.
