wildlife national parks, getting up-close with mountain gorillas and chimpanzees and tracking rhinos. This trip is packed with activities but also allows you to relax.
The 10 days trip stars when you arrive at Entebbe airport then transfer to Kampala city before you venture into the wilderness of north and southwestern Uganda.

Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe airport and transfer to Kampala City
Upon arrival at Entebbe, you’ll meet and greet with our guide/drive and take a 40 minute drive to your hotel in Kampala, dinner and overnight at Humura lodge/Sheraton hotel Kampala.
Day 2: Kampala to Murchison Falls National park
Early morning our guide/driver shall pick you up after breakfast at your hotel in Kampala and transfer you to Murchison Falls National park. There will be a stopover in Nyakitoma at Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for en route lunch and guided rhino tracking on foot with a ranger. You continue to the park and do a hike to the top of Murchison waterfall. From there you cross the Karuma bridge to your lodge, refresh for diner and campfire. You may stay at Paara safari lodge/Pakuba safari lodge or Chobe safari lodge.
Day 3: game drive and boat cruise
After a cup of coffee and snacks early morning embark on a guided game drive in Murchison falls national park. There are exciting animal encounters such as herds of Uganda kobs grazing near the tracks, elephants, lion, buffalo, zebra, Rothschild’s giraffe, topis and eland. The ranger guide looks for leopard and Serval cats as he explains other flora and fauna that live along river Nile.
Return to your lodge for breakfast, you can relax, swim in the pool waiting for lunch. In the afternoon, take a guided boat cruise on the Nile for great birding experience, spot Nile crocodiles, hippos, elephants and buffaloes and admire beautiful scenery. Cultural dancers may be invited to perform around campfire, dinner and overnight at your lodge.
Day 4: transfer from Murchison falls to kibale forest national park
After breakfast, you’ll transfer on dirt roads to kibale forest via hoima town. After nearly 6 hours of driving, enjoy lunch in Fort Portal town. If time allows, you’ll feast your eyes on the Ndali-kasenda crater lakes. You’ll arrive at your lodge in kibale for dinner and overnight either at primate lodge/crater safari lodge/Kyaninga lodge.
Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park
Breakfast is served early at 06:45 and you go to kanyanchu visitor center, meet your guides for briefing. You’re then guided into the forest, track chimpanzees for 1 hour as well as see other species of primates like black and white colobus monkey, red colobus monkey and lots of birds.
Return to your lodge for lunch and after transfer to Queen Elizabeth national park. Arrive at your lodge relax and settle at your lodge for African sunset. You may have dinner and overnight at samba safari camp/Enganzi lodge/Mweya safari lodge.
Day 6: game drive and boat cruise
You wake up for coffee and snacks. At 06:30am early morning start a game drive with Uganda wildlife authority ranger traversing through the savannah you may spot a pride of lions, herd of elephants, Uganda kobs, buffalo, topi, eland, waterbuck and many more. Return for breakfast and relaxation for lunch. In the afternoon enjoy cocktails drinks on 2 hours boat cruise along kazinga channel passing by hippos, crocodiles as well as see elephants along the shores. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 7: Game Drive via Ishasha wilderness and transfer to Bwindi
After breakfast, you’ll be transferred to Ishasha wilderness. You’ll do a game drive to search for tree climbing lions and proceed to Rushaga, southern sector of Bwindi reaching in the evening. Check in at your preferred lodge Bakiga lodge/Gorilla safari lodge/Chameleon hill road.
Day 8: Gorilla trekking and transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
At 07:00am after breakfast, you’re taken to the gorilla center where Uganda wildlife authority guides will brief you on gorilla rules. You’ll be guided into the forest. The duration of the locating gorillas is unpredictable and when you find gorillas, you enjoy 1 hour with them. The guides will explain the history of a family and its members. Return at your lodge for lunch and after transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for overnight at either Bunyonyi overland resort/Arcadia lodges
Day 9: Boat cruise and transfer to Lake Mburo
You wake up on great sights of beautiful 29 islands of Lake Bunyonyi for breakfast and after take a boat cruise to the Punishment Island and its tormenting history. You also visit Governor’s Island where you might see zebra, visit the old church and climb up to the BaTwa community. Return early for lunch and transfer to Lake Mburo via Mbarara for en route lunch at Igongo cultural center. You reach Lake Mburo national with sightings of impala on your way to the lodge. You may have dinner and overnight at Mburo safari lodge/Mihingo lodge
Day 10: Nature Walk and transfer to Kampala
After breakfast, you take a 3 hours guided nature walk on foot with a ranger. Viewing wildlife on foot is an amazing experience to get close views of herds of impalas, zebra, topi, eland, buffalo, and giraffe. You also spot a variety of bird species like crested guinea fowls, woodpeckers and many more. Return from the bush for lunch and after transfer back to Kampala. On the way you’ll stop at equator monument for photos and continue to Kampala. Drop off at your lodge or do some shopping before transfer to Entebbe airport.
